These terms apply to every tour booked with Egypt Tours Finders (“we”, “us”) through this website, by WhatsApp, by email or by phone. By making a booking you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
1. Bookings
- A booking is confirmed once we have received your payment (deposit or full amount) or once our team has confirmed it to you in writing.
- The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and accepts these terms on behalf of everyone in the booking.
- Please check your details (names, date, number of travellers, pick-up place) carefully. We will contact you to confirm pick-up details before your tour.
2. Prices
- Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) per person unless stated otherwise.
- Some tours have lower per-person prices for bigger groups; the price that applies is shown before you pay.
- Children aged 2–11 pay the child price where a tour has one; otherwise they pay the adult price.
- What each price includes and excludes is listed on the tour’s page. Anything not listed as included (for example tips, drinks or personal expenses) is not included.
3. Payment
- You can pay the full amount online, or pay a deposit online and the balance on arrival, as shown at checkout.
- Online payments are processed securely by Paymob, PayPal or Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- If your bank charges you for a payment in a foreign currency, that charge is not part of our price.
4. Cancellations by you
To cancel, contact us by email or WhatsApp. The notice period is counted from when we receive your request to the start date of your tour:
- 7 days or more before the tour — full refund of the amount you paid.
- 3 to 6 days before the tour — 50% refund of the amount you paid.
- Less than 3 days before the tour, or not showing up — no refund.
Refunds are made to the original payment method. How long they take to reach your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
5. Changes to your booking
If you’d like to change the date or the number of travellers, contact us as early as possible. We’ll do our best to help, depending on availability; price differences may apply. Moving a booking to a later date is treated as a cancellation if it falls within the notice periods above and the new date cannot be confirmed.
6. Changes or cancellations by us
- We may need to adjust the order of visits, timings or the route because of weather, traffic, site opening hours, official decisions or safety reasons. We will always aim to keep the experience as described.
- If a tour cannot run (for example a hot-air balloon flight cancelled by the authorities because of the wind), we will offer you another date or a similar tour, or a full refund of the amount you paid for that tour.
7. Your responsibilities
- Carry a valid passport and any visas you need, and follow the instructions of your guide and local rules at each site.
- Be ready at the agreed pick-up time and place; late arrival may shorten the tour without a refund.
- Tell us before booking about any health condition, mobility needs or dietary requirements we should know about.
- Dress appropriately when visiting religious sites.
- We strongly recommend travel insurance covering medical costs and cancellation.
8. Partners and responsibility
Some services (such as Nile cruises, dahabiya boats, hot-air balloon flights, domestic flights and hotels) are provided by independent partners, under their own conditions. We choose our partners carefully, but we are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, closures of sites, decisions of the authorities, or delays and cancellations by airlines and trains. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law.
9. Complaints
If something isn’t right during your tour, please tell your guide or contact us straight away so we can fix it on the spot. You can also send us a complaint by email within 14 days after the tour, and we’ll reply as quickly as we can.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
